Magic Valley Gear Exchange is an outdoor gear shop that offers both retail and consignment in anything climbing, backpacking, boating, and skiing related. We specialize in providing novice to advanced climbers & outdoor enthusiasts a place to buy all the gear they need. We also hold educational clinics and events to inform the community on a variety of outdoor skills and opportunities!

 

The shop was founded in 2016 by Tony Roberts. Certified through American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) as a Single Pitch Instructor (SPI), Tony is passionate about climbing and outdoor recreation in the beautiful state of Idaho. 

 

The Gear Exchange is close partners with the Southern Idaho Climbing Coalition (SICC), whose goal is to educate new and old climbers in the area, while also keeping safety in mind when climbing in Southern Idaho terrain.
